Respect Life Month 2015

October 1: Kickoff Event! Prayers and Fro-yo

Oct. 3-10 - Cemetery of the Innocents/Garden of Justice
Main Quad
Stop by and reflect on this powerful display, which is designed to raise awareness about human life issues and celebrate the progress made in addressing them.

Wear a Pro-life T-shirt to show your support for the dignity of all life!

Oct. 13 - Short and Sweet
BSC Conference Room, 7pm
Have a sweet tooth? Like to watch movies? Come watch and discuss short videos about various topics of the pro-life movement. Delicious sweets will be provided!

Oct 13th - Birthright Counseling, StL 
BSC tabling area 
Meet the local pregnancy resource center coordinator and learn about the free resources they offer. 

Oct. 23 - Pro-life Choices
Main Quad
Stop by the Students for Life table to learn about the variety of pro-life resources and organizations in the St. Louis area, as well as the Pregnant and Parenting Student Assistance on SLU's campus.

Oct. 28 - Keynote Speaker: Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. MLK
7pm, BSC Rm 300
Come listen to the niece of Dr. Martin Luther Jr. speak on "How Can the Dream Survive," where she correlates her uncles speech with the current pro-life movement. Reception to follow with free food!

Oct. 31 - Closing Ceremony
9am - Planned Parenthood, Forest Ave.
Join us as we peacefully pray for an end to abortion and for a greater respect of all life in front of Planned Parenthood, the only abortion facility left in Missouri. Afterwards, we will head over to Gries for brunch!
